Hello, my name is Martha Sheridan Chousal. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Universidad Labastida. I taught for 15 years teaching sixth grade at the primary level. Later on, I started my family and we immigrated to the USA in late 1999 due to my husband's job. It was here that I initiated the Spanish through Art program. A few years later, in 2011, I began offering our Spanish immersion program in collaboration with my team of teachers in various schools and preschools in San Diego.

My life has been dedicated to education and working with children. There is nothing more rewarding for me than continuing to learn alongside each of my students and being able to teach them the Spanish language, which will make them bilingual individuals with enhanced opportunities to thrive in this globalized world.
