Spanish Through Art
Three weeks in July at Old Town Academy. Each week themed around a famous artist — Picasso, Klimt, Rousseau. Painting, theater, music, science, outdoor play. Ages 5–13, all levels.

K–2nd grade
Spanish 1 · Early Elementary
Foundation in fun. Songs, games, stories, real conversation. Kids pick up sounds and phrases before they pick up grammar — the way all of us first learned a language.
3rd–5th grade
Spanish 2 · Elementary
Expanding horizons. Students build on what they already know, moving from single words into full conversations, short stories, and simple writing — still through play.
6th–8th grade
Spanish Middle School
Deep dive into Spanish. Grammar, vocabulary, and conversation refined to prepare kids for high school Spanish — with the same Martha approach: adapt to the kid in front of you.

At our early elementary level, students embark on an immersive linguistic journey through a series of captivating adventures. In addition to honing their listening, speaking, singing, and playing skills in their new language, our program includes a fundamental literacy component. This empowers students not only to communicate effectively but also to read and write vocabulary words, nurturing a well-rounded proficiency in their chosen language.
Spanish 2, 3rd to 5th graders HEARST
In our elementary-level program, students embark on an immersive linguistic journey through a meticulously designed series of captivating adventures. These thoughtfully crafted activities are strategically structured to progressively challenge students, fostering heightened engagement and a deepening comprehension of the language. Spanish 1 early elementary, K- 2nd SV
This class is designed for young learners in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Due to high demand and long waitlists at various schools, we've opened this additional session to accommodate more students.
In this class, children will embark on a Spanish adventure through songs, games, and art activities. These engaging methods will immerse them in the sounds of Spanish from the very start. As the course progresses, these activities will build their confidence and familiarity with the language, setting them on the path to bilingualism.
This is a fun and interactive class that will captivate and motivate students, helping us achieve our language learning goals together.
